Washington, DC - Timing is everything, goes a popular phrase, and this is also true for relationships. As Valentine’s Day approaches, social psychologists from Purdue University offer new research showing that a person’s commitment readiness is a good predictor of relationship success.


The nomination portals for SPSP's Annual Awards are now open. These awards recognize contributions to the field of personality and social psychology. Awardees will be recognized at the SPSP 2020 Annual Convention.

Do you have current research on a topic related to the teaching of social or personality psychology? Each year, SPSP sends a member to present and attend the annual NITOP (National Institute on the Teaching of Psychology) conference.
